  • Professional Growth & Career Support: Facilitate access to job placements, internships, and career guidance, especially for fresh graduates and young Kohatians seeking employment or career advancement.
  • Representation in KA’s Global Executive Committee (GEC): Ensure that the Lahore Chapter is actively involved in shaping the vision and strategy of the broader Kohatian Association.
  • Welfare & Philanthropy: Promote social welfare initiatives by supporting education, health, and financial assistance for underprivileged Kohatians and their families.
  • Digital Transformation: Support the adoption of modern tools and technology, such as eVoting, donation management, and digital alumni registration, to promote efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

History

The Lahore Chapter of the Kohatian Association (KA) holds a prestigious and strategic position within the wider Kohatian network. As one of Pakistan’s largest and most vibrant cities, Lahore has always been a hub for higher education, commerce, and government institutions, drawing Kohatians from across the country.

Recognising the need for a localised support system for Kohatians in Lahore, the chapter was formally established to connect alumni from all walks of life. In recent years, the Lahore Chapter has emerged as an influential and active chapter, with members representing prominent roles in civil service, academia, the judiciary, corporate leadership, and healthcare. The city’s status as Pakistan’s education hub — home to top universities such as LUMS, UET, GCU, and Punjab University — has made Lahore a key destination for Kohatians pursuing higher education and career growth.

This chapter has produced and supported several notable leaders, bureaucrats, technologists, engineers, and educationists, many of whom have played a direct role in advancing KA’s overall mission and vision. Their contributions have been critical in policy advocacy, constitutional reforms, and driving technological advancement, including the adoption of the KA website, eVoting, and donation management systems.

The Lahore Chapter regularly hosts networking events, mentorship sessions, and social gatherings to strengthen alumni bonds. Through these initiatives, senior Kohatians actively guide the younger generation, helping them access career opportunities and academic support. The chapter also plays a leading role in supporting KA’s fundraising efforts, especially in education-related causes like sponsoring cadets at CCK and offering scholarships for higher education.

With Lahore being a hub for commerce, law, education, and government affairs, the Lahore Chapter of the Kohatian Association is uniquely positioned to create lasting social impact. It serves as a role model for other chapters, embodying the Kohatian spirit of brotherhood, excellence, and service.

Today, the Lahore Chapter stands as a testament to the power of unity and collective growth. It provides a platform where Kohatians can network, lead, and support one another, while strengthening their connection to the global Kohatian community.
